The Celebrity Of Infamy
He’s just a crazed, jumped up, lowlife street punk
Getting ahead by selling grade B junk;
But all the homies think he’s a badass,
So no matter what, he gets a free pass.
So while his legend and fame quickly grow,
They treat him as a local folk hero.
But respect soon turns to fear of his wrath
’Cause he’s really a sociopath.
And they watch as a sister or daughter
Falls victim to his drugs’ senseless slaughter;
Barely teenaged girls turned out for his gain
While they suffer indignity and pain.
Since the hood allowed it, his power grows,
All because there were no real heroes.
So as the hood sinks into misery,
He proudly basks in his celebrity.
